Dentist replaced filling with crown - now have toothache w/cold drinks, etc.? - pain with cold drinks

I had a toothache before sealing the crown in a couple of times, but it remains the same. Nothing appears in the film. He tried to tell me that it was the tooth before a new crown, filling fees, but there is no improvement, remains the same. Painful cold hits. They held a couple of days, suggestions

After each treatment for the teeth, a little post-op pain as the nerve recovers. For the most part everything is SetLL in one day.
Cause With a crown that is not always so deep post, but the large area of the damaged tooth, pain-op can. Some cements are also irritating. I always clean the preparation of the tooth with steroid eye drops before sealing.
Even with the best care there is always the danger of permanent damage, leading to further post-op sensitivity and the need for RCT. This risk was estimated at 5-10%.
For now, take the pain reliever ibuprofen and control what happens. It is well preserved, better or worse, and there is nothing to do what is at this point.

OK, a number of things --
The man replied: "Go find another dentist" should chill out. Guess what documents - Somtimes and dentists everything right and the bad outcomes still occur. That's life. That does not mean that is the crown was not properly prepared or sitting, but offers the dentist the ability to do well.

Second, we will not jump so quickly into the canals. Cold sensitivity is sometimes called "Par for the Course" with a few teeth and strengthens the crown ... Let him open in the space of the crown.

If the tooth is a response to the nerves, there will be a greater sensitivity to cold - you will find the spontaneous pain or waking during the night or something. It is possible that if you drink something cold and pain, literally takes a minute or two, then it could be displayed channel.

If you are sensitive to cold was ready for the crown, there are two possible reasons:

1) recession is
2) the tooth has been prepared too close to the nerve

If not too cold sensibility appears to LESSEN assess if the tooth is also sensitive to heat. If yes, is a root canal.
